To assist you in planning your visit, we provide driving times and distances to and from various US and Canadian destinations to DownEast Acadia’s key crossroad town of Ellsworth.
We suggest purchasing a Maine Atlas and Gazetteer—sold at most grocery and convenience stores—to help you locate places to go, attractions, parks, remote boat launches, campsites, and more. Keep in mind that cell and data service is minimal in some areas of the region. Plan and be prepared.
