Sightseeing & Tours
Sightseeing means different things to different people. For some it's cruising along scenic byways, for others it's seeing museums, historic sites, or every lighthouse around.
Still for others it doesn't count until you've hiked the trails and kayaked the waters and experienced the place up close and personal.
There are self guided tours and walking tours in many towns, there are guided tours at the park and at the museums and gardens. And there are excellent local guides on boat tours, in historical societies and at the parks and nature preserves happy to provide more information and answer your questions.
If you really want to get an overview, try taking a scenic plane ride to see the area, lighthouses–you name it for a custom made adventure.
