Deblois
Blueberries, blueberries, blueberries. Deblois is an ideal spot to see the fields of berries where they grow. In the spring the white blossoms cover the barrens and the buzz of the bees as they polinate the plants. Summer you will see the green leaves and the blue of the berries themselves as they ripen and in the fall, the fields will turn crimson red, rivaling the foliage of any tree.
Named for Banker Thomas Amory Deblois who was president of the City Bank of Portland which owned the land before anyone lived here, Deblois was incorporated in 1850.
