Jonesboro
Jonesboro is the home of Hannah Weston, the 17 year old pregnant woman who walked miles to carry ammuntion metal to the patriots so that they could fight to capture the British warship the Margaretta in the first naval battle of the American Revolution.
Jonesboro was named for John Coffin Jones.
