Sedgwick

Incorporated in 1798, and named for the English general who
ousted the French from Castine in 1654, Sedgwick's coastline spans most of
the length of Eggemoggin Reach. This deepwater passage is a favorite of
schooners and yachtsmen cruising the coast. Take the shore road between the
Benjamin River and the Deer Isle for the best views and take some time to see the Historic District.
