Autumn Leaves

The warm days of sunshine and the cool crisp nights make autumn the favorite season of many Downeasters. The pace slows down a bit and with many shops, restaurants and activities still open and festivals still peppering the calendar, there is plenty to enjoy amid the magnificent colors of fall. Hike on trails or along quiet roads and crunch through leaves with the scent of woodsmoke in the air. Or drive along our scenic byways and see mother nature's dazzling show.
