Castine Historic District

Located by the Bagaduce and Penobscot Rivers and Wadsworth Cove Road, these 255 Buildings on 18000 acres in Castine are significant for time periods from the 1750's to about 1900.

Castine is also home to the Off-the-Neck Historic District with 11 buildings on 3800 acres, most of which are dwellings, many in the Federal Style of architecture.
