Calais Historic Districts

The Calais Historic District is located on Church, Main and North Streets in Calais and encompasses 20 acres and 17 buildings in the Italianate, Greek Revival and other architectural styles.

Calais also has a Residential Historic District that runs along Main Street and Calais Avenue and from Calais Avenue to Swan Street, in the Queen Anne, Italianate and Greek Revival Styles.

The Hinckley Hill Historic District is located on Main Street with 8 historic homes in Greek Revival, Gothic Revival and Italianate styles.
