Historic Districts

In an area as rich in tradition as ours, there are many historic sites and many enclaves where collections of historic buildings and sites are still in tact.

The historic districts listed here are from the National Register of Historic Districts of the National Park Service. East distirct is a concentration of historic buildings, structures, sites or objects of distinction that are significant in American history, architecture, archaelogy, engineering and culture.
